Sad moment for me. Sitting here at Heathrow, waiting for my flight and just bought 2 bags of wine gums. They have nothing to do with the taste and consistency from my memory, when I was a small child. Will not buy them again until they go back to the original recipe.

There was one original wine gum.
They came from Bassett's.
And there was was many bad copies.
Today there are only bad copies.

I was a big consumer of the original winegums. Since they changed them i hav not bought them. It would be interesting to compare the sales figures for the Original verses the "new". They must have dropped conciderably!

Maynerds wine gums are the equivalent to chewing on camel dung and should be banned. Absolutely diabolical they done Away with bassetts
