I really need more people to see this right now because we keep climbing toward that two hundred fifty mark and I just know it will change how the parks department looks at us. Please tell a few neighbors about the festival because if we hit that milestone before the weekend ends it might actually give us the leverage we need to get a meeting.

BRING BACK THE FESTIVAL. Chicago needs more local stuff like this.
Used to go every summer. It was the highlight of the neighborhood. Bring it back!
Such a shame it stopped. The music was always top notch and the vibes were perfect.
Please. That event was the best part of summer for my kids. So many great memories
Why did they kill this? Welles Park feels so empty without the music.

I miss the folk fest so much, nothing else compares to it in the city.
