Old bus system had no problems , new bus system is crowded and unreliable

It’s not only the school buses, but the public buses, thatvour children use to get to school . 2x the bus to the Bayfair via Maungatapu at 7:37am was just dropped/cancelled, websites not undated, appauling communication. Feel for those people/ children trying to get to work and school.

New bus providers are unprofessional, inexperienced and do not have enough drivers. On my eight year old granddaughter’s first day back at school, she was not picked up at her designated bus stop.

The bus is always late and my 10 yr old son is now travelling for 1 hour and 45 minutes to get from school in the Avenues to Pyes Pa. we simply won’t use the bus if this continues

It is cheaper to put on free buses for children than build new roads! The traffic in the mornings and afternoons in this city is just shocking (but not during school holidays for some reason... wonder if this is linked?)!

It's time we put people before profits all the time and looked after our future generations in a safe and reliable system that parents can trust. Why do we keep thinking new ways are better than the in house school bus service we older parents experienced. Council and Government need to spend road taxes on actual tangible results not reports and reports. Council need to talk to the real users and stop thinking they know it all.

Annoyed that this council still hasn't listened to the community and doesn't seem to understand how bad the situation is - including the social, financial, health etc effects of a failing bus system.

The current public bus is so unreliable. I have taken my girls the Aquinas 3 days out of 7. Not good enough. Plus our bus turned away kids at Aquinas for the trip home because there were too may kids. Surely that warrants a designated school bus. We are all paying for it anyway.

they are either late, early, stop at all stops not on the supposed new timetable, very dis organised, dont know how to use the money machine properly, taking 20 minutes to get kids on bus at school,
