Our boys both have learned a lot in the track and field program with him. He puts in tons of extra time to help these boys!

Very poor decision by the school. They keep the wrong staff and get rid of the great staff. Priorities & plain common sense are lacking here. Bring him back!

Maxwell was a great teacher and an amazing coach. He taught me that when running, loosen your shoulders and think positive because negative thinking always leads to tension and loss.

He is a great teacher! Everyone makes mistakes and he has helped so many children through the years; myself included. You should really get the whole story before just jumping to conclusions.

Everyone is allowed to make mistakes every now n then. He doesn't deserve to lose his job. Not right to have awesome teachers lose their jobs over a simple mistake. Probation would of more like it.

IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS. That's why they attend SCHOOL IN THE FIRST PLACE. If you're old enough to watch the news and consciously sign your name to a paper that literally says "This could happen", then you're old enough to deal with the consequences. An experienced teacher doesn't deserve the heat for that.

This teacher is one of the few who really care about their students in this district. One mistake and he's being forced to resign. Come on man. These were seniors. The movies games ans songs they listen too contain violence of the same if not higher caliber

I had Mr. Maxwell my senior year in 2013. He was a great funny teacher very brilliant, he ALWAYS warned the class before a questionable movie and skipped inappropriate or unsettling scenes... He helped me not only in English (the curriculum he taught at the time) but I had gone to his room for study Hall's to catch up on classes I was behind in.. I NEVER would have graduated without him.. please bring him back.
