They use less energy than a frontloader and better spin dry than a frontloader they also use less water as you recycle your wash waterand you deside when they rinsed enough so saving time water and energy

I used one for many years when my children were young. Automatic washing machines are nowhere near as good as Hotpoint twintubs! Please make them again!

I have one as old as me (50) it’s a 1460 model I paid £5 on eBay for it. I put a new hose on it and it’s as good as new.

We have a hotpoint supermatic de luxe 9414 to sell. Never been used, still has the free washing powder inside. Always covered up. Spotless condition. Would need collecting from Ramsgate in Kent. Offers welcomed.

I so miss my old twin tub and would ove another,in this day and age it would make more sense to own one with climate change etc as used water can be recycled by watering the garden, plus use less electric and water as can wash bigger loads so overall better for the environment

The suds return functionality allowing the reuse of the soapy water is an undeniable energy and water-saving bonus. Start with whites, then fast coloured, then dark. All for around 38 litres. The average water used PER LOAD in a modern front loader is about 50 litres. Twin tubs cost less to run and save a fortune on tumble drying due to the exceptional spin speed.
