I Do love the old Hotpoint twin tub but I must say I've had the Polar twin tub for a number of years and does exactly the same probably better

Twin tubs ARE far more efficient than modern machines, yes I had a Hotpoint, only disadvantage is you stand over it, advantage is it takes less time to wash than a modern machine

This was the best washing machine ever made for washing nasty things from you kitchen, baby clothing, and diapers. Please bring this washing machine back! I would buy four of them at one time, one for me and one for each of our children.

Desperate to find a decent twin tub. They just don't make them like they used to. I'd buy one straight away.

Fantastic machine perfect for small kitchen. No risk of flooding due to emptying into sink. Spin dryer faster than launderette. Hotpoint would sell a million.

While you can still buy twin tub machines; they are made of plastic, which knocks out the environmentally friendly advantages of using one. Twin tubs are much more economical to use, both financially and environmentally.
