Mr. Griffith is a great teacher. Me being as a former student of him, knows how interactive with his students. He is caring and loyal to his students. He makes orchestra so fun and deserves more credit. He does not deserve to be fired.

Mr.Griffith is an amazing teacher who should never have been fired. I heard that it was a fiscal decision, because of the need for a 6th grade teacher, but why fire the 1 orchestra teacher? He is an awesome teacher that has helped me grow a lot, and has supported me for all three years of his Batavia teaching. He has encouraged me to follow a career path in music, which I intend to do. Why fire the man who is inspiring kids to be the next generation of musicians? Please consider this.

Mr. Griffith teaches, motivates, challenges and inspires. His passion is infectious. I am devastated by this news.

Chris Griffiths is as valuable an asset as you will find on our staff roster. He is irreplaceable and to let him go is an inconceivable mistake on the part of the decision makers. They are acting without regard to the value Mr. Griffiths provides to our students at RMS.

This is ridiculous! Music and art programs are very important to our children in this community!

I am extremely disappointed with this decision. My daughter has loved learning the viola in 5th grade. I am concerned about her growth in orchestra next year. It feels like the decision makers at RMS do not care about music or what a great number of parents and students want.

Fund the arts. Fund our teachers! I pay over $1000 a month in property taxes and moved here for the school.

He is a really good teacher and works really hard for the success of the students while sacrificing his time and energy.

Mr. Griffith is such a knowledgeable and valuable orchestra leader. How is a band director going to teach strings?

Mr.griffith is an amazing teacher. He has helped me improve so much. We had a fourth grade recruitment performance today, and I think the kids were exited to have him as a future teacher. Mr. Griffith makes orchestra fun and should not be replaced with a band teacher.

I’m very concerned with the new ideas being suggested lately. We moved to Batavia because of their high ranking schools. This saddens me!
