Batavia's school district has an outstanding music program, with impressive levels of participation. If we let go of the amazing teachers who inspire these kids, it will wither and die. Please help keep Batavia's music program strong.

I wouldn't be the man I am today without Batavia's Music program. Do not take this amazing program away from our youth! A Band teacher is NOT an Orchestra teacher.

Great teachers deserve the respect to keep a job so that they can positively influence the lives of so many. Please do the right thing, Batavia.

Learning and playing violin throughout most of my school career in Batavia would not have been so rewarding without a teacher who specialized in string instruments. Keep the orchestra directors!

The arts support holistic learning for students and are a major contributor to healthy, happy kids. Considering the emphasis many of the board members have placed on the mental health of the student population, I sincerely hope that the dismissal of a well liked, professional, and effective arts teacher can be reversed.

This is awful. If you had an award winning football coach you would do WHATEVER it took to keep that coach. I know. We have coaches in my family.
But music, well, that's just frivolous, right? This is why our culture is going to hell in a hand basket. Way to cut off your nose to spite your face, Batavia...
I am so angry, and I dont eve have kids in this district. You are awful for trying to make such a biased choice.

I couldn't agree more with the statements of this petition. Mr. Griffith is an asset to the orchestra students and Rotolo Middle School. He is inspirational, an amazing educator and cares for his students. He has gone above and beyond to extend his love of music to the students and giving them opportunities to play outside of the classroom and school. You know it would be wrong to let him go. Do the right thing for the children and keep Mr. Griffith on staff!

We need a dedicated orchestra teacher at Rotolo. Wrong decision!
