As someone who has known Mr. Griffith for his three years of teaching at RMS, I can tell you that he is INCREDIBLY dedicated to what he does. He has put in countless hours of his own time planning lessons, and always had our best interest at heart. He is an incredibly honest and genuine man with an incredible heart who will make you a better person not only in the classroom, but out of it as well. He stands for all of Batavia’s policies, and always tries to do the right thing and make us the best possible person we can be. I cannot imagine my life without him, and you would be doing an entire community wrong by going through this, period

I AM SO SAD, the only time I was looking forward to go to school was because of orchestra LITERLY!!!! Your making a big mistake, Mr.G is the greatest teacher I know and is so funny and kind no matter what. It would be miserable for him to go and they are marking A HUGE MISTAKE and trust me YOU DONT WANT TO LET HIM GO!!!!!!!

I was worked with Chris for years prior to his postition in Batavia, he is by far the best of the best! The meaningful relationships he creates with his students is truly unforgettable! Batavia would be doing a complete disservice to their students by letting him go!

My granddaughter Gretchen Grossert loves playing the cello, practices without being told and never misses class or shows because of Mr. Griffith's infectious presentation and teaching cues. She is excelling in her studies and has developed a love for music. Please do not let this teacher go. He is one of Rotolo's assets.

As a current high school student as well an orchestra student who had Mr. Griffith as a teacher I can say I honestly cannot fathom why anyone would believe this is a good idea, Mr. Griffith was an absolutely amazing teacher, he was able to get people engaged and actually want to learn orchestra. He was an excellent teacher and extremely qualified for the position. I find this decision appalling and a horrible decision by the school. Batavia is known for it's outstanding musical education, but apparently now it's all going to go down the drain. This is ridiculous.

I really can't believe, with all of the tax money Batavia School District takes of ours, that you would even CONSIDER letting a music teacher go. Shame on you. Music is a second language. Obviously football is far more important than teaching real life-long skills. Such a shame. Batavia school district, your priorities are simply messed up.
Thanks for asking us, the tax payers, what we think is important. Furthermore, the fact that a student brought this to our attention is also a shame. I am very proud of the student and disgusted with the misallocation of our tax payer money.

Mr gritth is so awesome and amazing the best teacher ever today when he told us I cried so much and was so sad to have to see him go if Mr gritth does have to go I would be so sad as NO one could ever live up to the legacy of him he is the best orchrasta teacher anyone could ever ask for and if he leaves I would be soooo sad not just for previous students but also for incomeing students to he is the best teacher ever!!!

As a parent of a hs band member, I find this unacceptable to think a band director can assume the role of an accomplished orchestra director. That shows program ignorance on the part of those in charge of making this decision. You are doing an incredible disservice to the children in your district.
