One of the most passionate & enthusiastic teachers I can think of, he always made me excited to go to orchestra. He deserves this job more than anyone else I can imagine. Love ya Mr. G!

Mr. Griffith is my orchestra teacher. He is one of the best teachers I have ever had and puts in a lot of time and energy into helping us become great musicians. This simply isn’t fair.

Can a band teacher teach vibrato? Fingerings? Bow holds? Harmonics? Do they know how to tune a violin? Band and orchestra are completely different. The band teachers are amazing at band and their schedules are already crammed enough. Mr Griffith meant everything to everyone in the music program. Some student like me felt like he was the only teacher we could trust. It’s truly heart breaking that someone as beloved as him has to be let go.

I am a music teacher in a neighboring district and a resident of Batavia. We moved here for the amazing music opportunities in Batavia's schools. This is simply unacceptable.

A band teacher leading orchestra is like a football coach leading ballet. If there are multiple band teachers and only one orchestra teacher, then cut a band teacher.

Mr. Griffith is the best orchestra teacher ever. He does not deserve this. He is an amazing teacher. He is funny makes us laugh and is an amazing educator. I hope the school board changes their mind , because letting him go is a big mistake.
