we actually did it, the council denied the permit for the takeaway and the pub is staying a pub. i honestly didnt think we could pull this off but you guys showed up and proved that sneinton cares. take a minute to celebrate this huge win because you earned it.

As you are all probably aware someone is trying to turn the dale pub into another takeaway. The pub has 'asset to the community' status meaning the developers must prove the community doesnt want a pub. Many people from Sneinton still used the pub till the day it shut its doors and is one of the last places long standing residents from sneinton could still meet up. If you would use the pub again or would like to see it re-opened as a pub please sign this petition and theres a good chance it wont be turned into yet another takeaway which sneinton definately does not need!

Should stay as a pub, there are more than enough food outlets on the dale presently more will only bring a increase to health issues within the community, which politicians are saying that food outlet increase obesity and yet they are backing another food outlet
This pub was used by my family for generations and as there are very few pubs left in sneinton it’s good for the community and quite frankly there’s enough good things on the dale now
PLEASE NO MORE FOOD SHOPS!!! I've personally had plenty good nights in that pub meeting up with sneinton people it's about the only place left standing that's part of sneintons history . It was in DESPERATE NEED of a REFURBISHMENT!! AND NEW MANAGMENT! Leave it has a pub sneinton people have a lot of memory's in that place .
I think we have more than enough takeaways, places to eat on Sneinton Dale, there is also a concern regarding parking, the streets are congested now. Residents find it hard to park outside their homes never mind on their own street!
We don't need anymore takeaways or places to eat out not on the Dale it's already full of them.Its also going to be close to local schools. Children don't need encouraging to eat takeaway foods.
Bring it back
the pub as been there for a very long time and my family used it along time I'm sure the residents of sneinton would like to see the pub reopen it would be ashame to see the last pub go forever

Should never have shut down. My family as a history of managing the pub and other family members have worked there for over 40yrs. Should be re opened as a pub as there are plenty of takeaways nearby if not too many takeaways
