I am an OAP and I rely on this bus together to Clapham Junction and St John's Hospital on a regular basis. I live at the Battersea Square end of Battersea High St.

This is obviously the wrong decision by tfl and is causing real inconvenience. This should be reversed ASAP.

Quite obviously TfL did not check out thoroughly the existing low bridge on this part of the route when the new buses were ordered thus finding that, in fact, only a single and not a double decker bus is still only suitable..... There is only one bus 170 that uses this part of the route and to just take eliminate it last November without any considerable for people living in the vicinity was appalling.....

According to the drivers the bridge is showing the incorrect height, this is why they are no allowed to go through that side of the railway bridge - the buses have no problem in getting through! Quite ridiculous!!

It is ridiculous both the change the route and also to have bought buses that don't fit!

This change will have a huge effect on the residents in Surrey Lane and Lombard Road, who will have a long walk from either Battersea Park Road or Battersea Bridge Road, with shopping, walking aids and children. It will also impact the secondary school children to and from school.

This bus is vital to so many people. I live round Battersea Square and it is the only bus there is. It's a scandal to leave so many people stranded without transport.

The 170 route along Battersea Church Road,Vicarage crescent and Lombard road is an extremely important route picking up many elderly and vulnerable people who are unable to walk to Battersea Bridge road. Also St Marys Church, hub of local community is affected Please re instate route with approp height 170 buses to this much loved bus route

With so much new development of flats along Lombard Road, the need to have a 170 route is more critical than ever. To remove this is simply crazy. I ask for common sense to prevail and reconsider this decision.

Please make sure this bus route is put back and in use again. I am in a wheelchair and it is too far for me to push home - to vicarage crescent - from other bus stops!!!!! And it is vital that I have to use th bus. Why has it been stopped????
