Bring the route back! It's shameful that TFL didn't check the height of the bridge before. How incompetant can you get?

Please reinstate the service. It is vital for people like us living there! Go back to the old bus or find any other solution

The 170 is the only public transport that serves this area - losing it has been devastating; my partner has just had a hip operation and cannot walk far. It also doubles the length of any journey and is highly inconvenient. That this all avoidable and due to tfl incompetence merely adds to the frustration

Total ineptitude and lack of foresight has resulted in the withdrawal of a vital service for a huge community of families, elderly and others who are completely dependant upon this bus service. TfL really must address this urgently!

There are more than enough buses heading down Battersea Bridge road but now none down Battersea Church road and beyond. This leaves many residents, both elderly and young, stuck and potentially isolated and vulnerable . Please reinstate the 170’s normal route. Thank you.

The 170 bus is a vital link for the residential area of riverside/ North Battersea to Clapham Junction and Wandsworth town centre, which is not served by other routes.

This is so typical of the way so called 'customers' are treated by TFL. They create new buses and are too damned ignorant to check THE bridge for height and we, the poor third class citizens, have to put up with this. I wonder if this would be allowed to continue if we were in Chelsea..

Key link in an area of London that is very limited in transport unless you’re able to walk long distances

Why on earth has TfL bought new buses that don't fit under the bridge ?!? Come on Sadiq, get a grip and fix this.

This is an essential service for residents in the area - esp for the elderly or those less mobile. It is not good enough to direct people to other bus stops when they are too far for some to access. TfL's is supposed to be promoting the use of public transport and accessibility, not making it more difficult.

The 170 is a vital connection to what is an area around Vicarage Crescent that is I’ll servcied by public transport. This is extremely poor by TFL

Outrageous. Still no information from TFL on website or local information on the affected bus stops or in local shops. The arrogance of the tardy TFL response is not acceptable, especially from a public service. We need the service reinstated - and now
