TfL should reintroduce the 170 bus service. It is a scandal of bad management not to have considered the height of the new buses!

This bus serves a number of very densely populated streets of all social types that have no other public transport. It is literally the lifeline for many in this part of Battersea.

I am a resident of Vicarage Crescent. This is the only public transport which serves Vicarage Crescent and the Battersea Square area and as such is essential to the residents of the area. Please sort out this mess and re-instate the service.

Please reinstate the 170 as this causes huge disruption in people's lifes. The service was already very poor with few buses running every hour, but now it leaves people that leave around Battersea Sq. area without any public transportation service to commute or go anywhere.

The area is described as a transport blackhole even with the 170 bus route in place and deters people from moving here. It is already a 20/30 minute walk to the nearest train/tub stations around Battersea Square. Someone screwed up, hence no consultation, just apologise and resolve the error rather than try and brush it under the carpet.

I use this route everyday and I am very displeased TFL did this without consultation of the local residents. Furthermore, I am totally shocked to learn that because the team which ordered the new buses did not calculate the height to accommodate the Cremorne Railway Bridge on Lombard Road, local residents now have to suffer as a result. I sincerely hope the team has been reprimanded for not doing a good job at the cost of tax payer money.

Not only does TFL need to bring the bus back, they need to increase the frequency of buses between 7 and 8am as the buses are very often over packed and passengers have to be rejected because the buss is full. This has happened to me several times in the past few weeks even with the newer, larger buses.
More buses in peak times please...

This area of Battersea is severely underserved bt TfL, and the removal of one of the few busses we have makes it even harder to get around. Please restore one of the few ways we have of getting around as soon as possible.

Bring it back! It's the only bus that serves the Lombard Road, Battersea Square, Battersea High Street, Battersea Church Road and Westbridge Road area - many people, including myself, rely on it. Ridiculous to have it withdrawn without notice or consultation!
