This route is vital for the local community - I rely on this bus every morning for my commute - what are we supposed to do?

The 170 is vital for those living along the river in Battersea to get across to the North side of the river.

It is the only transport route we have so it is vital. Who asked for the new buses anyway? They don't carry as many people as the previous ones which were already packed.

Transport connections are already limited for people in this area, to cut it further is simply unbelievable.

That is crazy why bring in buses that are too large? The 170 route is vital to me!

What about elderly, disabled and less mobile neighbours along this route? There is no alternative service. TFL should reinstate, either by using a correctly sized bus for the route or by digging out the road so that the new buses safely meet the height restriction.

Please reinstate 170 in both directions on Lombard Road

Sadly brings to light the inefficiency and waste of TfL in properly checking all aspects of any new project. To withdraw a vital local service without any notification is disgraceful. TfL must sort this stupid mistake out NOW, not when it feels like it.

Collecting my grandchildren from Christ Church School is virtually impossible without the 170 service. Please restore the service!

There are other buses in the fleet fit the bridge height

This is a vital service for all in this part of Battersea, not only residents but local businesses as well - it needs to be re-instated immediately

I rely on this service to take me to work in the morning. Because of the route diverting to Battersea Bridge Road, Prince of Wales Drive, Albert Bridge Road, and Battersea Park Road, it is causing a longer waiting times, it's resulting in me arriving to work late. I also find it inconvenient having to walk to a mainline bus stop as I am suffering from an ailment in my right leg.

This section of SW11 is cut off without the 170 running in both directions. Older buses would be better than no buses.

My wife has walking difficulty. Loss of westbound 170 service from bus stop 54377 is greatly missed. LACK OF ANY NOTICE FROM TfL ABOUT WITHDRAWAL AND REINSTATEMENT IS DEPLORABLE.

That residents in this part of Battersea will have no public transport because TfL put batteries and air conditioning on the roof of the bus is perverse in the extremes.

This should have been thought through before it has got to this stage. This link is very much needed. What will happen, more cars on the road!!!!

TFL are shambolic & utterly insensitive to the suffering of the local cummunity. Shocking.
