I was so upset to hear that the school wants to stop making grad books. I totally agree that Vidigami can not replace these books, and they are something that I was really looking forward to help making and receiving on grad night. Please bring back the grad books!

I was looking forward to getting to keep these Grad books which show the amazing Southridge experience, so this news is very disappointing. I hope that they will be brought back for the class of '18 and all future Grad classes!

I support keeping the Southridge Personal Grad Book tradition for the graduates! I know that Crofton, York and Vancouver College do not have this unique tradition! Let's keep Southridge special! Bob Hartshorne

I am FURIOUS that the grad administration at Southridge school have gone so low as to not only take away these grad books but to also take away many grad privileges that the grads are granted. I will not STAND for it no longer. SOUTHRIDGE STUDENTS WE MUST RISE ABOVE AND REBEL, THIS WILL NOT STAND WITH US! You may take our grad books but you may never take our spirits, because as you say they are all soaring; we know now that the grad administrations spirits sure aren't.

The kids seem very excited to continue with the life book concept so Bob and I would like to support the idea. If there needs to be a charge for this we support that too of course!

Cancelling of annual grad books
Is it a lack of volunteers to put them together ?
Parents , get it together
Is it cost $ issue ? I'm sure with all the tuition "lifers " pay or grade 8-12
A couple of dollars per year should cover the cost
Come in decision makers !! Those books are life long memories in there

Why? Southridge literally makes 7.2 million a year of the senior school students. Where's all the money going?

The grad books are such a wonderful keepsake for students at Southridge to remember their time at the school. Eliminating such a popular treasure, that grads enjoy every year, just seems wrong. Putting something in print solidifies memories in a way that online file folders just can't do. I have yet to meet a grad who doesn't love and cherish their grad book from Southridge and the current, and future grads, deserve to have that same experience.

This is not the thing to cancel. Let every Spirit Soar is the school motto. During something as important as the graduation year when this group of outstanding students are going to split up and leave this chapter of their lives behind, a commemorative book is important. To cancel this after years of doing it seems very short sighted and a total injustice. You can fix this Southridge.
