I am a member of CSI Philadelphia. I have been with Rev. Roy Achen a couple of times... So sad that the church leadership is taking such a stringent action against him. No matter which denomination, leadership is taking hasty unhealthy decisions in many instances without looking into the possible after effects. To be very open, don't we have bishops who have done serious offences even against the ten commandments? We still bear them ... When do we get a chance to excommunicate them? At this time I support Roy Achen, no matter what.

Best, most relatable MTC Achen I've known. Such a shame and will certainly alienate even more US born MTC. Given the minimal number of US born Achens in the MTC, the MTC should re consider its constant relocation practices for Achens and give consideration and compassion to family needs, particularly given the mass exodus of US born MTC members. what nonsense are you saying!

Yes, the Kalpana explains it all. Achen wanted to leave and his action was a breach of trust. Why become a Marthoma priest if he wanted to serve elsewhere

All achens are doing God's work. Please don't compare

Our Thirumeni is guided by the Holy Spirit. Why would anything in his Kalpana be untrue? You are disrespecting our holy church father by asking such a question. Please pray to God for forgiveness

There is nothing special about the US youth to grant them special treatment. They should be treated no different from the marthoma youth elsewhere. Those who want to go elsewhere will have all kinds of excuses .Let them go

Please understand that actions like these would further alienate the youth in the US - most of them are already going to other churches.

This is why many of the young families are moving a way from the marthoma church and in to a more independant belief.

Are the things mentioned in the kalpana entirely true? http://marthoma.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/REV.ROY-A-THOMAS-DISCIPLIN.pdf

Why are the Marthoma youth so appalled? We are all living the hypocrisy our so called annointed thirumeni's speak against. We allow these disconnected devils to dictate the happenings in our adopted land, and allow their rules to govern how we worship. Who of you has the guts to stand up and revolt against the injustice they create and foster in the Marthoma church. If you really want action do something. We are in communion with the Episcopal church in America, there is a constitution written in 1978 that still stands today. We can attend an english speaking church, we can receive communion there. No need to become a hostile pentacostal or a wandering no identity non-denom conformist. We have the means as the next generation to stand up and make a change. Are you not outraged by the blatant disregard of Christian standards of living by our so called leaders? Our thirumenis are permitted by our $$ to travel 1st class, receive specific meals, and then not even participate in a meal with the people they provide communion for. We then need to bow our heads and have them bless us with a cross their wear that they do follow as an example. We wasted millions of dollars shuttling thirumeni's all around our North American diocese, raised funds, and celebrated in all parishes and regions during our 25 year silver jubilee celebrations. That money was better served for the poor of our own mother land in India. Lets not forget the parting gifts given to thirumeni's who serve out their terms here in the North American diocese. They are provided a luxury vehicle to drive through the slums of India. Wouldn't the $$ better serve the poor, the man who can't afford a bible, the family who can't afford a marriage, or partake in church services because their church is too far. Do we forget how this Mar Thoma church came about. We are decendants of a REFORMATION. WE NEED TO REFORM IN NORTH AMERICA, start a new order of worship, and practice and honor the old litury and sacraments, but
