While working under one employer, Roy achen tried to get a better job from other employer. So the current employer finds that it was an act of indiscipline and fired him from the current job. Also tried to screw up him by sending a letter to Roy achen's new employer. Bishop, you can fire him, but please don't spoil his life. Now his life is in trouble. Job is important to everyone. Now a days priest job is a kind of work for living, not a service.

Bishops cannot excommunicate a Born Marthomite (laymen or clergy) by any means! If you leave Marthoma your citizenship is lost. So why these corrupt Bishops (Physically and Morally) are making noise?

He wants to go so let him. Has he at any point or in any of his FB posts asked for support to stay? He feeds off this attention. He's a classic narcissist. He likes all the comments, posts cute pictures that no one knows his story and all the while he won't post his thoughts or his side of the story.
All these people saying he's such a great Achen for the youth, aren't actually youth. Of all the people saying this, only a tiny fraction have actually been 2nd generation or later. Having worked with him closely, he has his own issues to work out. There was a laundry list of things he's done and said before that have caused issues and it was time some action was taken. Let him take his temper and stubborn attitude and see how he fares with non-Indians. They won't be fooled like the Indian community who only care about the outward appearance.

Roy achen might be good with youths because of his language proficiency. But he was not satisfied in our church is a fact. If he wish to go out, let him be free and continue his ministry according to his wish wherever he is. When comparing there are more culprits in our church in all meaning. Also I am raising a question that who is going to take action against the church leadership on some issues? They also do unethical and injustice some times. Out of three priests ordinated from American soil, two of them were not in our church now. It is a failure of the church too. Dioasese of North American leadership should open their eyes in this fact. ANYBODY CAN BECOME PRIEST, BUT THEY CANNOT WORK AS A SERVANT OF THE GOD. PERSANTAGE IS VERY LOW IN OUR CHURCH EVEN IF WE HAVE LOT OF ACHENS.

As per kalpana from Metropolitan, Roy achen started negotiating with another employer and Metropolitan fired Roy Achen from his current job.
Now it is the high time to think why both first and second US born achen left Mar thoma Church? How can we prevent this drain in future?

My forefathers have been Marthomites n I'm proud to say I'm one too. I want to see the next generation n it's next to come close to our Lord because of the sincere prayers of our generation n the ones before us. Let us remain united as one big family

Without hearing the side of Achan, how the synod can take a decision in this matter?.Our church is having a tradition of following what we believe as Christians. Seems like we are moving away from our fundamental believes by taking arbitrary and vengeful decisions like this.

the achen threw a book...what is holy are the words in the Bible, not the paper it is printed on. The Achen found it handy so he used it to attack the member. The member should be happy the achen didn't throw a chair at him

I had heard about a complaint that an achen threw a Bible to a church committee member when he was angry during the committee meeting.
