Before the builders dug the well fields there was hundreds of holes in the ground where big mounds of earth was left from the last build now they are disturbing them they are looking for new homes we need the council to do something these should have been tackled before building I think

I've had a number of rats in my garden coming from waste ground next to my property, it is overgrown and not looked after , apparently due to slow worm protection. But the rats are a problem that carry disease. Unhappy resident .

We have got lots of rats around the door here at Dolyfelin in Welshpool, because it is near a brook. Rats are known to bring disease over to humans, so called zoonoses. When the council does not deal with the rats, a next pandemic could be caused by them.

I have had a family of rats frequenting my garden despite having no rubbish or recycling laying around. Why should we pay privately for pest control when we pay through the nose with council tax!

We had a big family of rats come into our garden (and adjoining gardens) in January and February. We have been here 12 years and have never seen them here before. We thought they'd been flushed out of their natural homes in the fields below us by the heavy flooding in the area that had occurred around that time. They were attracted to our bird feeders, which we took down. We managed to get rid of them over a couple of weeks by putting down rat boxes with poison. Fingers crossed they haven't come back since!

Please bring back the exterminator, or provide a service till the building work finishes.
