We were plagued with a rats nest winter 2019 due to the unkempt walkway at the back of our property (beacons park) our army house officer sent a rat baiter who said he never seen so many so bold - he left poison traps but was only allowed to leave them inside the property boundaries so I believe they’ve moved further down the alleyway. The rats were drawn by bird food which I stopped using but remained foraging tree seeds from the thick hedgerow - they were bold enough to come right up to the house as well as all over the children’s toys ! I’m dreading them returning again.

I have seen a couple of rats in my garden. One was dead and I rang council about how to dispose of it because having googled, I found out what a health risk they are. I was told to put in my black bin with the non recyclable rubbish. It sat in there for 3 weeks as my bin had been emptied the day before. I'm not particularly squeamish but it was not a task I enjoyed doing.

We have recently had a rat problem and had to get someone out servers times which is costly. A lot of people can’t afford to get someone out and that means that this problem will become a big one. For goodness sake act before this causes the next crisis!

There is a plague of rats around Cradoc Close. I have lived here for 35 years and never seen one before. It’s an extreme health issue.

When people are too scared to sleep at night because they can hear vermin in their attics, in Council accommodation, and the Landlords, PCC will not help out, it's a disgrace.

My parents live in cradoc village & have never seen a rat on their patio in the 35yrs of living there.....they have now caught 2 families ifcthem in the past 4 mths. Last year I had a wasps nest in my attic & had to call the guy that used to work for the council to help me
