Dear Athletic Directors of VISAA,
We are writing to ask you to reconsider the current decision to remove JV championship games from our JV sports seasons. We are disappointed that this opportunity has been taken from us. We understand that you have decided that it would fix the problem of cheating and playing down the varsity players. However, we feel there is nothing to work for at the end of the season to not have a championship. As students, we can follow the rules if they are defined clearly and everyone agrees to play by them. If you please consider bringing back JV championships and the culture of competition all throughout the school year it would be much appreciated.

The administration thought they could quietly strip away our championships without anyone noticing. This surge of support proves they were dead wrong and now they have no choice but to face the heat.

kids deserve a chance to compete. taking this away just punishes the players for stuff they didnt do.
my brother plays jv and he is bummed out. let them play.
bring them back please. whats the point of all the practice if there is no trophy on the line at the end???
I feel as if the conference should address the schools that teach young athletes the wrong message- that it is okay to win at all costs. JV athletes should not have to work all season to not have a championship when there is a bigger issue.
I think that it is not fair that we just something taken from us because adults can not follow the rules.

so stupid to cancel the games just because of some coaches acting shady. fixing the rules is the job of the adults not taking our season away
