It is totally unfair to fire someone without due cause. The right thing to do, Steve Smith, is to rehire him!!

Bring Jim back!!! If he did not have disciplinary problems then he can still get unemployement! There is no need to fire someone just bc they didnt vote for you! The Sheriffs office isn't about one person, its about a team!

This man is one of the best individuals you will ever meet. He was give NO reason for his release and that is in fact against the law. I am done with this poor excuse for a sherif. Steve Smith and his good ole boy system has GOT to go. I know several officers who should be behind bars along with that man. It's time to take a stand. This is a democracy, let's remind them how that works

As a former RO at the high school I saw his competence and professional demeanor first hand. His unjust firing is just a few among the others that Steve Smith has incompetently done.
