Change these insane rules and help us support the small businesses of Bethany. How can we shop there if we can’t park there?

This is insane. We live 5 miles from town and the beach...full time residents for 11years. You are essentially closing the town and beach to us. Not only is this unfair to us on a personal level...this will effect home values in the area, besides the already struggling businesses! Please rethink this!!!

Full time resident of Ocean View. I won’t be going into Bethany this summer since there is no place to park. Feel sorry for the business owners... they will suffer.

Please return parking to how it was prior to June 1st!!! It is very unfair to businesses and local residents!

My husband and I own a home in Plantation Park where we intend to live full-time by early next year. We have paid taxes since purchasing the home in 2014 and this is the first year that we have felt like unwanted outcasts. It is now simply impossible to enjoy downtown Bethany or to patronize the local restaurants and businesses. How in the world can those establishments be expected to survive?

Bethany is getting closer to putting that final
nail in the their coffin! The well to do families of the town of Bethany just want to keep Bethany a Family Town as long as you are on the of families of Bethany!
I am across the bridge in Oceanview n when my family from other states come to visit, I will not take them Into Bethany Beach for any reason to spend their out of state vacation monies....I will take them to Lewis, Rehobeth, Fenwick and even go to
Ocean City and pay their state tax before dropping anymore money in Bethany Beach....what shame it has come down to this after my family has been visiting since 1980!!!

My family and I have lived in Ocean View since 1976. We go to Bethany to get away from the summer tourism. We shop, eat and walk the area. It would be disheartening if we can't go this summer.

Why is there no parking in Bethany Beach this year? I live in Millville and always enjoyed spending time at the beach. That said I can spend my money elsewhere. The parking designations leaves us no choice.

I’m worried for town merchants and restaurants. We’ll miss walking the boards!

I have lived in Millville, DE, Sussex County for 5 years. I love going to Bethany Beach to relax In The sun, go out to dinner or shop around town. Please don’t make this impossible but not having parking available . Thank you

I own a second home in Millville and pay taxes just like the BB residents and you have no right to take away my access to the beach as well as destroy the profitability of local businesses!!

I have a house in the Cripple Creek Community and frequently park for dinner, etc. Now, it looks like we won't be able to do that.

This is ridiculous! The year-round residents would be just fine with having the town all to themselves! They have always felt this way! They could care less about businesses, employees and summer guests...and to boot-they raised the parking fees again this year!! Tell me they want to be a 'family' town?? Doubt it!

We all pay for beach in Taxes, people that own homes do not own the parking, or the beach.

Free up more parking for visitors. If we cant park we find somewhere else to go and that hurts all the local businesses.
