Parking is challenging enough as it is but we power through because we love the town. We want to support Bethany and help the businesses get back on their feet. You would think the town would want that as well! Instead they are just pushing us out.

I have had a year around residence in Bishop’s Landing since for 6 years paying taxes like everyone else though I have NJ tags until I retire from my NJ job when I can transfer to full DE residency and switch to DE tags. I pay the same taxes for my DE home as everyone else. The Non Resident Parking will now limit me and my family in BB. This is not fair to us or to Non-residents who are renting from other States and support our economy and businesses through tourism. Please reverse the parking decisions to normal. It is especially not fair to those of us who are paying RE taxes here.

Makes no sense to restrict outdoor activities and continue financial ruin of small beach town businesses.

this will take any chance local businesses had of recovering from the 3 month shut down and kill it. The town should just start buying plywood to board up store fronts. Absolute idiocy.

It’s tough enough to park in town during the season & now the town counselors are creating their own island & excluding their neighborhoods & out of town guest, what a shame to isolate themselves, I hope they enjoy their “private” town now that they are keeping everyone from accessible parking. They are killing the local economy #Istandbehindlocalbusinesses #parkingforall

As a yearly visitor, who is also actively practicing safety during this pandemic, this doesn't make sense to punish us, or the business owners of Bethany who we love to frequent

How would you feel if only Millville and Ocean View residents could shop in Weis and Food Lion! Bethany Beach is being unfair to all the residents of Ocean View and surrounding areas!!! We will take our business to Rehobeth, Fenwick and Ocean City!

I don't mind paying for parking, but it has to be available...we support Bethany Beach businesses and appreciate them being there, but if we can't park, we can't support them

This ruling is elitist, divisive and will further hurt small businesses in the area.

Really? We've lived in Ocean View for 15 years and spent a lot of time and money there. How about permits for permanent residents of BB and OV.
