I live in Millville. I frequently make purchases from the Bethany shops. However, without parking, my business must go elsewhere. I feel bad for the shop owners. I can't imagine they support your new parking restrictions. Please return some spaces to non-Bethany residents. Thank you.

This abrupt. parking change has unfairly discriminated against those who use Bethany beach, a public beach, and own properties outside of Bethany but use the beach. I own a rental property in Savannah landing and I finally have a renter who complained the first day about beach parking. How much impediment to business must we endure.

This is ridiculous. What are you saying? No one except residents are good enough to be in our uppedy town

I do not understand the logic behind reducing the parking to non-residents

This act is insensitive & punishes your neighbors, and the businesses in Bethany Beach. We will no longer shop, eat, or otherwise patronize Bethany merchants until the City rescinds these harmful parking rules and apologizes for their insensitivity.

The very reason we moved to Delaware with to be close to the beach. I cannot afford a home in town limits of Bethany but I live within five miles and would like to be able to come to the beach.

Residents at BB would already be living close enough to walk so why would permit be needed? Those in surrounding area should be able to enjoy it as well. It's not a private beach. I feel bad for the businesses that rely on tourists to keep them afloat. So sad that someone could make such a decision that will hurt so many people, especially now in the times we live in.

Please open the parking for everyone to enjoy the oceanfront at Bethany Beach. Everyone - shop owners, homeowners, homeowners who rent their homes, visitors, and residents of adjacent communities count on having access. Restrictions never seem to work in a free society so stop it now. People will vote with their feet, their wallets, and find new memories to cherish elsewhere.

We would frequent BB businesses but not having parking will mean we will have to spend our time & $ elsewhere.

We purchased our home in Ocean View and was looking forward to “our” little town by the beach. I have been told we can ride our bikes... try that when the roads are busy and I have my five grandchildren in tow. I am so sad about this.
