I will not be visiting Bethany Beach for a very very long time. Not everybody with a physical impairment qualifies for a permanent handicap parking placard. I can physically walk 2 blocks to the beach from Pa Ave, but I cannot do it with a chair, an umbrella, and a small cooler. I will be beaching in OCMD this year and enjoying their boardwalk. Not even getting a De park pass either. Spending $$ in Md this year.

Not sure the reasoning for changing the parking I heard it was to reduce the crowds at the beach but I can tell you that didn’t work it’s only hurting small businesses in our town and turning off visitors who support the local businesses.

Built a home in OV to enjoy the beach. Going to BB for over 40 years and now that i finally have my home nearby, can't even access the beach. The town needs to rethink that decision.

It’s almost as if the Town Council doesn’t care about the livelihoods of the people who make visiting Bethany Beach worthwhile. OBX is looking pretty good for next year.

We moved here specifically to enjoy our coastline. How rude to exclude your Sussex year round residents from access. So disappointed in this plan.

Local business needs all the help they can get especially after so much lost income. Any hard evidence Why the Town should penalize them and tourists?

The Bethany Beach economy thrives on non-resident visitation. Parking needs to revert to its original state.
