I grew up not living in the town of Bethany, but going into town 2-3 times a week to enjoy the beach and businesses. With only a few parking spots to choose from now, when the spots are full, I’ll probably just go to the Millville Boardwalk instead and enjoy the free parking. Thank you for making the decision an easy one.

Restricting the parking just defers people more to even coming into Bethany! It’s discriminatory to allot 15 min parking spots for “restaurants” and not the local businesses that have been supporting Bethany for 30 plus years!

It’s a shame. Resident outside of Bethany in Ocean View cannot enjoy the beach like they have been. You’ve lost a customer for sure from me. I’ll go to other Surrounding towns. We don’t even go to Bethany for the beach we go for the shops and restaurants.

We should encourage tourism, not discourage it. It’s a small price to pay for 3 months out of the year.

As a full time resident of Ocean View, I don’t appreciate the lack of parking that is available to us “non locals”.

We own a condo in Ocean View. We should be allowed to park in Bethany!

My family and I live 10 minutes from Bethany and live here year round. We enjoy Bethany and will not be able to support local businesses if we do not have parking.

I understand the concern of covid 19, but the data and science has proven it‘s safer now and with Carney loosening restrictions, this doesn’t make a lot of sense for the town of Bethany. Feels very short sighted and over reaching of power

Who came up with this "brilliant" support small businesses plan? Clearly not thinking...

I am not a resident of BB, but I am a resident of a neighboring town. My kids and I utilize your beach and frequent the restaurants and shops in your town. I know it can't be easy making decisions how to best keep people safe and still open up your town. I can understand why you initially went with this plan, but as you can see the beach is virtually empty. Please consider loosening up the restrictions on parking so other can come in. I have friends that are business owners in BB and they were hit hard by the shutdown and now they are still struggling due to these parking restrictions. I implore you to reconsider your parking restrictions.
