The student invaded her privacy when she stepped out for a minute. Now she has to pay the price with her career. That is soooo wrong. The teacher did nothing wrong. She should have her job back.

According to the Dr., you relinquish your expectation of privacy once you enter school grounds. It is this acient generation of fools that fail to keep up with changes in society and believe things should be as they were 50 years ago when they were teens. The student committed a theft. The teacher had an expectation of privacy. The school firing her shows that theft and harassment are condoned, as is victimizing the innocent. Dreadful example for a school to set.

When are we going to start holding young people responsible for their actions. This country is going down hill because no one is being held accountable for things they do! You should never touch anyone's property without consent.

My 2 boys were both graduated from SC public high school. The superintendent Mr. Eubanks is the kind of school official that we don't want in our public school system.

Nobody has the right to access another person's cell phone without permission. This is not a first grader, it's a high school student who knows right from wrong and chose to do wrong. He should be punished.
