This teacher has not done anything wrong. In fact, the student should be charged by the police. This is a disgusting! Unbelievable!!!!!

The phone DID NOT belong to the student and the contents of the phone were private. IT IS APPALLING that you would defend the theft of a physical device and personal property.
You are teaching your students a horrible lesson and you are valueing your educators at less than zero. Absolutely disgusting.

This woman should not have been forced to resign in the first place. The student should have been suspended or expelled and arrested for theft!

this story infuriates me. Some kid steals private and intimate information and leaks it, and the blaim falls on the adult woman? Should we just never have any electronics anymore, should we not speak intimately with our husbands/partners? And why isn't there anything about this pervy kid anywhere? WHAT YEAR IS IT? If this happened at my university, I'd scoff at the ignorance of the administration and start looking to transfer.

What type of behaviour are we trying to encourage? Are we trying to raise a generation who favor loopholes over personal accountability? This woman was wronged, not once, but twice. Same on the administration for flushing American values down the toilet. If this kid was my son, well, let's just say I'd be the first in line supporting the teacher.

As a former teacher it is disgusting the way teachers are always thrown under the bus by school administrators.

What an awful Superintendent! He should be protecting his employees instead of throwing them under the bus. I wonder how long until he's thrown under the bus?

The supt. should be reviewed and possibly fired for inappropriate actions against Mrs. Arthur, and the school districts unwillingness to discipline the student in question.

So students are allowed to take their teachers' phones, and get them fired, with no educational repurcussions? What example does that set? Do you want this happening over and over? Seriously?

The kid should be expelled from the school then severely beaten
