I am a teacher. You are a monster, Mr. Superintendent.

The thief should be expelled from the school. It sounds like there is no discipline action on the part of the school.

Shane on the school for not supporting their teachers right to privacy and using this as a teachable moment about bullying, harassment and how to be a proper human being.

I am just speechless that the district would do this. I 100% support this teacher and everybody behind her. Here's support all the way from Michigan!!!!

This is disgraceful. Give this teacher her job back, and hold the student responsible. Even if the student is remorseful, he must be held accountable for his shameful actions.

This is a travesty. This teacher has done nothing wrong. She should be promptly reinstated and the student should be expelled.

This teacher did nothing wrong. Her employers response to her victimization is incredibly troubling. Right this wrong!

Everyone deserves to be able to come to their work without fear of unfair termination.

This sets up a terrible example for the students. Implying the student did nothing wrong, that stealing was not wrong? That is absurd and definitely not a lesson I would want my children to hear about in their school. A person's phone is their private property and the student blatantly violated the teachers privacy and personal property.

This is not ok, the student invaded her privacy and the picture was private and meant for her husband and not the student nor the school. We are all entitled to our private life and the student is to blame. This is just wrong, fire the teachers boss since he is not caring for his employees or the student by letting her resign.

What they both did to her is absolutely disgusting. I hope the student is brought up on charges and the superintendent is fired.

As a woman, your district sends the message that women can be the victims of crimes, and it is on them. This is not a message any school should send to its students. You should be ashamed.

That superintendent needs to be the one fired. Let's all look around on his phone and see how he likes it

Ridiculous. What she does in her spare time is up to her. That child is a thief and should be prosecuted end of story. Some people need to get a grip on reality. Good luck from England

This is completely ridiculous, how can a school district not punish a child that STOLE from someone else and had the audacity to SHARE her PRIVATE information!?!?! Wow, understood someone should guard their phones at all times because there's disgusting thieves out there, but this boy needs to get punished for harrassment AND theft! Yes he can be remorseful all he wants, but shame on you. This kid has no idea how easily you can ruin someones life and scar them, hopefully this situation is a HUGE eye opener for him and it teaches him a life lesson.
