Superintendent David Eubanks should be fired from his position. Shame on him. I wonder how he would like it if a student stole his phone and posted everything private of his on social media.

Yes she shouldn't of let students use her phone she was trying to be nice by letting them but that by no means should allow the students to think its ok to take her phone without asking and go through her personal photos or apps.

A disgrace! The student invaded her personal property, humiliated and abused his teacher! He should be punished and ashamed of his behavior. And the school administration should be smacked upside their heads. What a bunch of asshats!

Bad enough that Mrs. Arthur had to endure the humiliation caused by her student's criminal act, but subjecting her to further humiliation by firing her and not disciplining the student in any way is horrendous. She did nothing wrong; the student did everything wrong. Way to further erode what little respect students have for their teachers! Shame on Union County School District's interim Superintendent, David Eubanks. (Think twice about hiring that clown permanently. He will cost your school district dearly in lawsuits.)

The kid should have never taken her phone. Or shared her private photos. The kid needs to be in deep trouble. Not the teacher. She did nothing wrong.

Because it is her phone, she has the right to privacy of it. The student is at fault and there is no reason she should have lost her job
Good luck
