I m indian i want that the teacher shouldn't be removed from her post as it is not her fault. It's the fault of a 16 year old boy who has no idea what is right and what is wrong.

Shame on the School District for not protecting their employees but the immature and irresponsible actions of their students.

If a student can invade someone's privacy like this without punishment, then the school needs an education .... I realize she should have had a pass code or something but if I forget to lock the door am I responsible for the burgalary?

The student stole the teacher's phone, invaded her privacy, and exposed a photo meant for her husband. The brat needs to be sued!!!

This firing is ridiculous. Student should be suspended. We all have a right to privacy.

This is disgusting, how a victim is being blamed. This is a terrible example you set for your students, and community.

What you kids are doing is great. Whether she wants her job back or not, it's important to let her, the administration, & future employers know that she was qualified and capable of educating young adults. I do however understand her not wanting to return, as it would be very difficult for her to feel comfortable and safe in an environment where her colleagues don't have her back. You're all much braver than your vice principal, have much more conviction. And I imagine you learned it from Ms Arthur. Good luck.

The student should also be punished for unauthorized entry upon personal property, violating privacy rights from personal belongings, and slander. The teacher has been unjustly prosecuted.

Blatant disrespect by the student, Mrs Arthur should be reinstated.

I wish her the best, however; let it be a lesson learned to put a code on it!

Honestly, it's the student who is in the wrong, and the student who should be removed from the school.
