I'm a teacher too. It is a shame this is happening. I have to monitor the hallway in between class changes as well. Sending prayers that she gets the justice she deserves.

A lot of steps had to be taken for that student to go through the process of posting the picture online. Nevertheless it is something that has happened and that the teacher should be allowed to work.

I can't believe a teacher has to pay for her student's lack of respect. She has a right to have a life outside of school and it's unfair to blame her for taking pictures on her personal phone.

Absolutely disgusting that she lost her job over a douche bag little kid stealing her phone and accessing her private info. She also should have had her phone locked down with a passcode, but that is beside the point.

A violation of privacy is still a violation of privacy, no matter what the age, status, or situation was that led to the student obtaining the phone. Lack of accountability for the student only breeds the grounds for more possible future illegal invasions of privacy. The teacher should not be punished for what was obviously taken in confidence and in her own private life, she didn't pass the picture around, or hand the student her phone.

The child violated her privacy and had absolutely no right to go through her phone. What she does on her phone with her husband is nobody's business! The school board doesn't pay her phone bill. Give her back her job!

Mr. Eubanks should be immediately terminated and the student prosecuted for theft. The teacher did NOTHING wrong here and the entire blame resides with the student. The school board needs to step up and do the right thing.

How dare you blame the teacher for taking pictures that were intended for her and her husband's use only! She does not give up her right to enjoy her life as she sees fit simply by virtue of being employed in a public position. The student violated her privacy-she was not willfully contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
As the father of a young daughter, I see great value in a female teacher in a STEM field. THAT'S what matters. Whatever the teacher does in her own time is her business, and nobody else's.
