With all the nude photos of celebrities out there, the nude photo of a teacher is relatively harmless. Nude pictures are so common now a days. Give her job back to her.

Not only have you now have given students free reign to invade teacher's privacy, but you will now lose teaching talent. No one will want to work for a district that blames the teachers for student misbehavior. Administrators like you are why I will never return to the classroom.

The school's handling of this matter is shameful.
There is nothing inappropriate about a woman taking a nude or sexual picture of herself in private to share with her husband.
The student who stole the phone and invaded her privacy and posted private information should be severely reprimanded, and the incident should be an example to other students.
The school administrator who fired the teacher should be fired, required to pay for damages, and publicly reprimanded for his idiotic and inappropriate misplace meant of blame.

For a teacher to have her phone stolen and then be BLAMED for that is ridiculous. Parents and the school board expect teachers to have 4 pairs of eyes, and numerous extra limbs in order to keep a 'proper eye' on students, teach all of the mandated material, maintain order and respect in the classroom, and still keep themselves open enough that their students actually enjoy learning. This is absolutely unrealistic; no teacher can be everywhere simultaneously, and this woman is being punished for the willful actions of a student that she had no part of. Shame on you, Superintendent Eubanks. Give Mrs. Arthur her job back and stop punishing your teachers for being only human.

Mr. Superintendent Eubanks, that student committed a crime that would be severely punished if it were done to a fellow student. He committed a criminal offense and it is a well known fact that a married woman has a life outside of her job. A photo that was never posted on the internet doesn't make this woman unfit to teach. Please give this woman her job back.

Teachers have a right to privacy and a right to a private life outside of school hours. This teacher should be reinstated and the student should be disciplined by the school. Her phone is private property, and the student should not have interacted with it.

I originally thought this was an onion article then kept reading and found out otherwise. The teacher should be reinstated fully and the superintendent should be forced to make an apologetic statement for attempting to discredit her.

The fault is not the lady taking pictures, the problem is the kid stealing a phone that is not his. You can't punish someone for having a private picture on HER PHONE!
