So it's okay for this little creep to steal someone else's property, completely invade her privacy, and share a picture of her without her permission... because she wasn't watching him at the time?
But it's not okay for her to have a single picture in her phone where she's being sexy - a picture she only shared with her husband, likely by text - because she "allowed" a student to steal her phone?
In what insane universe does this woman's private romantic life - which clearly never reached her professional life in any way, if this is how her superiors react to it - have any sway over her duties as a teacher? I'd get it if she was shooting heroin or abusing animals in her off time, but really? One naughty picture that she never publicly posted and that students only discovered after legitimately committing a crime to get to it? What, is she a bad person for not deleting it right away? Will she suddenly begin teaching her students unholy things like sex positivity and how to maintain a healthy self-image, thus weakening the Holy and Almighty Patriarchy that worships penii and rape jokes but thinks women and womanly things are icky?
I would just like to point out that Mrs. Arthur is female; the little creep is male; and the asinine Superintendent who is (terrifyingly enough) in charge of the education in that district is also male, not to mention very old and therefore very likely bogged down by extremely outdated definitions of right and wrong. Maybe we should have another petition to kick him out of office early; clearly he's not fit for the job if he thinks "lack of attentiveness on the part of the victim" is grounds for not expelling that little scuzzball from the school.

No one should be treated in such a way. People make mistakes, but as a student in high school, the student should have known better. Hopefully, this teaches them to think before acting. Good luck Mrs. Arthur. I would hate for this to happen to me.
