Way to victimize the real victim here. That teacher not only deserves her job back but compensation and one hell of an apology.

This stoey has reached the UK and the people in charge should be sacked themselves. When someones privacy is violated in this way they should not be the one punished. Maybe thdy should be given a lecture on the benefits of phone security but to sack them for this is ridiculous.

why is a teacher being punished for the irresponsible action of a student? the superintendent needs to listen to the voice of the people and show himself as an example of morality.

The school district superintendent should be ashamed of himself for blaming the teacher instead of the student who stole her phone.

Incredible, how a school rewards criminal and viscious behaviour, punishing the victim instead. Shame on you.

the teacher deserves respect & understanding. it sounds as though she was too trusting , and a bit foolish on understanding kids

They have facilitated the humiliation of a professional they should support and gone on to force resignation setting a precedent that all teachers and those considering the profession must consider. Bravo - short sighted hypocrites
