David is really a smart intern superintendent. That was a joke, can't believe how stupid he really his. Just glad my wife doesn't teach there because I may have knock him out, and blamed it on my PSTD from the military...

She could have given the phone to every single student at any given time and that would not have given the one who stole it the right to access personal data and spread it about on the internet.

Students need to be held accountable. BUT how very stupid and careless for a female teacher to represent herself like this:(

Your actions thoughly disgust me how dare you blame this woman the student should be expelled and she should be given her job back before the lawsuit gets very expensive for you.

Shame on you, Union County School District's interim Superintendent, David Eubanks. Shame on you. What a slimy person you are, and what a disgrace you've made of your school.

This teacher should not have been fired for this incident. It was the student's fault for their invasion of her privacy & the posting of a photograph without her consent. The old white guy in charge is exactly what's wrong with this country with his far right wing attitudes towards women.

Reinstate her! This was her private phone and this student's actions were an invasion of her right to privacy.

Nude photos should NOT be considered inappropriate ever. It IS unfortunate that it was "shared" with students by another student who seems to be the one at fault. Punish the vic, not the victim

The superintendent is being mysoginistic and ignorant and deserves to be fired himself. I would love to sit on the jury for the lawsuit for wrongful termination of Mrs. Arthur!

Schools need to support both teachers rights and students rights, lately this seems so skewed in the US. The studend (s) should face consequences for what they did but to punish an entire generation by letting a valued teacher go is absurd. She is obviously a teacher that has made an impact on many students and should be reinstated.

No teachers should be forced out of their jobs due to the misdeeds of their students. This isn't the first time and it's certainly not the last. Lets hope that this stops.

Superintendent needs to be fired here, not the teacher.

It's ridiculous to punish a teacher for a student's crime. It's the student who should be sent to a juvenile detention center.

Because punishing a woman for having her trust violated by her students and then having everyone see her naked isn't fun enough amirite

One could argue that the teacher could have taken more precautions to prevent anyone from accessing her phone, but that aside, she should not lose her job over something that was never meant to be seen by anyone other than her husband. This woman has been punished enough already, giver her, her livelihood back.
