I am absolutely disgusted that the school's reaction to one of their teachers having her privacy violated and her body put on display for the world to see WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT is to FIRE THE VICTIM! The student should have been turned into the police, end of story. Instead, you choose to punish the victim who's worst crimes were 1. To dare have an adult life OUTSIDE of school and 2. Not protect HERSELF well enough against a snooping pervert.

The response of the interim superintendent to the crime committed by the student against the teacher is one of a typical sociopath. Basically, he's saying she deserved to have her phone picked up, rifled through, and private photos posted online. If anything, he should be the "former" interim superintendent, and she should have her job back. As for the student, he should be punished by the school as well as by law. You leave other people's property alone. Duh. That's about the most basic principle of human relations.

The teacher may have been negligent - I don't know the details - but it seems inconceivable that the administration's first reaction is not to come down decisively on the student for taking a teacher's phone and searching through it. This school seems to have lost its way.
