This is just wrong, especially with no punishment for the student in question.

This is WRONG. This student should have been the one in trouble and she should have her job back. The system is backwards and stupid, that was her personal property and he should have never touched it. It doesn't matter that it was out and on her desk she should have never been suspended for this.

This is out-right sexual discrimination of this educator, her body and her phone are her private property.

What does this teach children? That they can steal without repercussions? That women's bodies are not their own? That men can enjoy women's bodies, but women should be punished for it? This is sexism. The student should be punished and the teacher should be reinstated.

The decision to force Mrs. Arthur is ridiculous given the nature of the incident. The students should have been suspended, if not expelled, for such horrendous behavior.
What's next? Fire the principal if a student hacks his or her computer and finds private information? Going through someone's phone is like going through their wallet or their purse - completely UNACCEPTABLE.

Common sense folks. Not knowing anything other than she forgave the goofball, if she's a good teacher-get her back!

Without this teacher, I would have never buckled down and completed my work. I would have never made it into honors courses like I did because of her. And I wouldn't have made the grades I did in high school or college. Now I'm in my first year of nursing school with a 3.9 GPA and I'm excelling in my studies. Union County needs her!

This is absolutely absurd. Would the teacher be forced to resign if the student broke into her home, raided her closet, and stole photos held in an album? Of course not. This is no different. Ms. Arther is the victim here.

Good Teachers are few & far between anymore. It's a shame that she lost her job & the student who sent out those pics was never reprimanded

This teacher did nothing wrong. As a victim, she should not be paying consequences for the actions of the perp who SHOULD be paying consequences. Don't protect the criminal and persecute the victim.
