I wonder how many of those school administers would lose their jobs or be forced to resign if someone stole their phones? I hope they find out soon. What goes around, comes around as they say.

Her personal info is just that hers. Once he opened up her app, he was stealing her privacy. Make him pay for his dishonest behavior. But who is going to give Leigh Anne back her privacy. God Bless teachers!

Sounds like the student had this premeditated. The student should never go unpunished.

This is a travesty to the ideal of privacy and the students who stole the teacher's phone and circulated the pictures should be the ones being punished!

Invasion of privacy and theft of personal property. The student should be held accountable and punished severely

The fact that the kid who did all of this goes unpunished is complete garbage. She is the victim here; why is she being punished?

Punish the perpetrators, not the victim.

If a student had stolen her credit card and went shopping, he would have been arrested for theft. This situation is no different. Mrs. Arthur is the victim of a crime and in no way responsible for the dissemination of her private photos. Right is right, and this wrong.

Students may do stupid things, but they must be held accountable. The teacher is innocent in this, based on what I have been able to read. Unless there are circumstances not published that would change the shape of justice, I ask that you undo your prima facia unfair action.

Whoever in the administration that forced this teacher to resign is the one that should be resigning and the student should be getting punished for stealing the phone. What kind of messy up thinking could possibly blame the teacher? I have never heard of such a lack of common sense in all my life. That teacher should be back working tomorrow and someone from the school administration should fired.

Seriously, forced to resign!?!?! This is absurd. Regardless of who's fault it was, neither this woman nor any other human being in this universe, should be fired or forced to resign due to nude pics. We are born without clothes, this is not shameful. I hate to state the obvious here, but we have all seen what's hidden behind clothing and your first glimpse of this was probably of your parents/siblings when you were a child. The human body is a work of art, a thing of beauty.

Another example of not having consequences for our children when they do wrong.

Can't stand the hate and injustice on things like this.

I am disgusted that Ms. Arthur was forced to resign. How dare this school treat her with such a lack of respect. I hope she chooses to file suit. This was a horrible invasion of privacy and a blatant case of gender discrimination.

Way to blame the victim, Union County High School!! What kind of message are you trying to send? This is outrageous, she should sue the school & the officials in it.

The school should be ashamed for what is an obvious violation of this teachers rights, and a flagrant disregard for disciplining the actual culprit. I'm absolutely disgusted.

Really? I mean, really? This is insane and has the potential for a strange precedent. Was it on the phone storage or the cloud? Would merely the device enabling access to accounts and storage services equate to bringing that information into the school? Illegally accessing someones private property should be the issue, not context sensitive material.

This is ridiculous she did nothing wrong. That kid did so he should be the only one that gets punished and he should be punished big time

Give her job back and expel the student.
