I would be very surprised if none of the administrators that forced Mrs. Arthur into resigning never had racy pictures. There is nothing wrong with a person sharing semi-nude pictures with their spouse. It is shameful to force her to resign because a student stole those private photos.

Mrs. Arthur taught me at jonesville in 6th grade and I had her for mechatronics my senior year. She's a great teacher and shouldn't lose her job over her privacy being invaded!

The student should be punished not the teacher.

This whole story is ridiculous. One could argue that she got fired because she brought pictures of a pornographic nature on campus, but if that is the case, it needs to be stated that way. The students involved deserve to be punished as well. If the students get no punishment, the teacher should get no punishment. This isn't justice.

This stupid action to terminate her from the job is a reflection of how inept the management of this school must be.

That's what's wrong with this world. Always going the wrong direction in fear of what social media will say and think! The kids where wrong. ..I hope she sues for every penny she would of made from now till retirement, plus emotional damage. Her privacy was broken. How the hell do you justify your damb actions? Her private picture had been set to who knows how many people. Doesn't matter where they stole it. They stole it.....PERIOD! She didn't send it. She has a right to have whatever she wants on her phone... She's not breaking any laws. You people are seriously twisted.

I cannot believe that this teacher was forced to resign for this photo that she took for her husband. She did not send it to any students. It was on her phone and the student who violated her privacy is the person who should face disciplinary action.

This teacher had a reasonable expectation of privacy. I hope she pursues legal action against her ex-employer.

The student should be held responsible not the teacher. Good teachers are hard enough to come by without them being punished when they did nothing wrong!

An instructor has been victimized and subsequently punished for it. She has a right to her privacy, a right which was violated, and she deserves better than the treatment she has received.
