To think that a student who stole private property not to mention invasion of privacy from a teacher is not getting punished is disgusting but then punishment of said teacher is down right despicable. Shame of the school district your job is to protect both the students andbthe teachers. This is not okay. That child should be expelled and charge with theft. This teacher need to be protected from the student vagabond.

Does the CRIMINAL STUDENT's family have some sort of clout in the area? Contributing to the sociopathic development of students appears to be the aim of the school board: students committing crimes like this, and those simply violating privacy, need to be held accountable for their actions. What's next? Telling a student who illegally enters a home and steals that he's not responsible for his crime because the owner should've prevented his criminal access? Who would elect such idiots to be involved with the education of students?

As a professional in the field of technology, this teacher is blameless. If she'd had a passcode, it's trivial to bypass it.
The student was out to humiliate her and should be held accountable for it. I believe revenge porn laws have been created for just this kind of act. As it was disseminated via the internet, it's been made public and should be prosecuted as such.
As the school has been made aware of this act by the student as has not acted in the victims case, it can and should be held as an accomplice in the students illegal act.
In other words, this school should or its representative should be prosecuted for an act of revenge porn.

Taking nudes is always a risky choice, especially nowadays but this woman wasn't doing anything wrong. Its bad enough this individual invaded her privacy, her career doesn't need to be ruined on top of it.

The receiving, sharing and publication of private photographs without the owner's consent is illegal. The explicit nature of the photograph makes this a sex crime. The student should be disciplined accordingly by the legal authority and since the crime happened on school property should also be disciplined by the school. If the Superintendant refuses to punish the offender, further assisting him in foregoing charges levied against him and continues to punish the victim, the Superintendant is an accessory to a sex crime and should also be counting bricks in the walls of a prison. Do better.
