I am horrified and appalled that Superindendent Eubanks is so willing to countenance theft and malicious distribution of a teacher's private photos, to the point that he's not even sure if the thief will face disciplinary actions. This is a monstrous example to set for students, and it shows that Eubanks does not belong in a position where he is responsible in any way for their education. My daughter is a student at this school, and I'm terrified for her safety and the victim-blaming he would undoubtedly spew if something like this were to happen to her.

As a boudoir photographer, we need to educate people that boudoir is not "porn" and that having these pictures is no reason for job termination.
Additionally, the teacher did nothing wrong! Her privacy was violated by a student who probably also committed copyright violation (by the way) and should also be sued by the photographer!
The stigma that boudoir photography is somehow unprofessional or unethical, for a teacher needs to change. Teachers are people too... guess what- they even have sex! Imagine that! That teacher with children actually had sex at least once per child! Amazing... maybe they should be fired.

David Eubanks should be ashamed of himself. Punish the studen, not the teacher.

The teacher had a right to her privacy and this student violated her privacy. Suspend the student, sue the school for wrongful termination and find a job elsewhere.

Why is the student not punished? If a teacher did what the student did, the teacher would be punished either way. Not fair to the teacher.

This teacher done NOTHING wrong and it's her Fault that a student took her phone without permission or without her knowing and did this? No she did not make it available to them it was in her phone which should have been private. So you're trying to say if I leave my wallet with money and personal stuff where I usually keep it and no one has messed with it before I asked for it? No... Leave this woman alone and this little bout NEEDS to be punished my children will not be like SOME of these disrespectful kids now days

The student who copied the photo committed the offense. The teacher should not be punished for this violation of her privacy.

I cannot believe they haven't punished the student involved. Another case of the school system holding the hand of troublemaking kids while throwing common sense to the wind.

The fact that incidents similar to this continue to occur over and over again to women all across the world just shows how very behind we still are in terms of progress. I sincerely hope that Leigh receives the justice she deserves, and that people can finally learn from this unfortunate situation that it is finally time to stop misdirecting the blame to the victim, but to the offender instead.

Help the teacher relocate to another job; it was a private picture. Punish the student so that no other student does it again.

The student is guilty of invasion of privacy, and defamation of character. Teacher should be more careful. Nobody forced the student, it was there choice

Teacher should retain her job and sue the student (parents) if that is a possibility.
Unbelievable.
