She did nothing wrong. What was on her phone is her business and that student wrongfully accessed it and thus invaded her privacy. There is no reason for her to be terminated. A little red faced, maybe ;), but not fired.

This person had photos OF HER OWN BODY on a personal, private device. She did NOT display these pics in the classroom nor did she send them to the student. No indeed, the student STOLE (yes, THAT is the acutally deliquency here - STEALING aka THEFT) a person's private property, which last time anyone in this country bothered to pay attention is a CRIME, and the ONLY crime committed here.
