This is the most ridiculous reason for firing a teacher that I have ever heard. The school administration should be ashamed of themselves!

It's the students to violated the privacy of the teacher. The teacher shouldn't have been fired. The student who distributed the pictures should be punished by the school and be facing criminal charges. I would like the school district to rehire the teacher with backpay.

I am stunned at the District's blame of the victim. Even if she did let students use her phone previously it doesn't make her responsible for its unauthorized use and the violation of her privacy.

For goodness sake! She did nothing wrong--her privacy was violated on purpose by a silly little boy. Reinstate this teacher and offer her a full apology.

This whole thing sounds adsurd. Someone, a 16yr. old, broke her trust. She did not do anything wrong. She should get her job back. Let the investigation of the 16yr. old continue and let him be dealt with however they see fit.

It was the student who did wrong, he deserves to be punished! Suspension, a write up in his permanent school record, removal from extra-curricular activities. The school should be concerned about the type of student and person they create and letting some scum-bag in the making get away with this AND punishing the victim means this school is simply forwarding the misogynist agenda in this country.

Administrations such as this that do not have the backs of their teachers are the number one reason young people like myself are turning away from the profession. Discipline Your students. It's clear their parents aren't.

I am saddened by the school districts overwhelming need to cover its own behind instead of doing what is right. the simple fact is what the student did was and invasion of privacy one that should not be allowed by any one. No one should be attacked for being victimized you don't tell a rape victim it was her fault and this is no diffrent.

Nobody gets sacked when their credit card details find themselves onto the black market.
This is discrimination, pure and simple, because evidence was exposed that this fine teacher is also a sexually active woman.
That hasn't been grounds for dismissal since the 1920s.
