The 16 year-old boy who texted her personal photos without permission deserves to be reprimanded for a blatant invasion of privacy.

Superintendent, this call was ridiculous. You should be ashamed---one of failing to teach the kid what he did was wrong, and two for making someone feel shame for something completely normal.

Arrest that kid for hacking

The fact that the school punished her as opposed to the 16 year old student who invaded her privacy and proceeded to share it amongst his peers is egregious. You have to put blame where blame is due for students at such a young age to learn. Getting away with something as sick and invasive as this at age 16 will only go on to spur more actions like this.

As a fellow educator I am horrified and disturbed. My thoughts are with you.

Why is she in trouble? That student stole her phone & invaded her privacy! Another case of blaming the victim.

I hope this teacher goes after this school administrator personally and gets him fired. Nothing like putting all the blame on the victim.

Mrs. Arthur's privacy and possessions were violated. Period.

Shame on this student, and I hope charges are pressed. He had no right to disrupt her life in such a way. I hope the teacher seeks financial retribution to cover her lost income!!!

This was not her fault. If she is not reinstated, she should take legal action against the school district. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor? As if this kid had never downloaded porn before!

This thoughtless, insensitive decision should be reverted. The student and those who spoke against the lady (Eubanks) should be reprimanded and teacher should be given her right, her job back!

Ms. Arthur is the victim and the actions of the student are criminal. Dr. Eubanks, the student and the school district should be the focus of an attorney with Internet law experience and hopefully all three are sued.

Good luck Mrs. Arthur-- I'm rooting for you and that the district and boy apologize for their actions.

The child and his parents should be charged to the full extent of the law.

The administrators responsible for this travesty have no business guiding the development of children, and should resign immediately.

David Eubanks should also be reprimanded, asked to resign, and perhaps even prosecuted for his rewarding of the delinquency of a minor and for his contribution to many future incidents of increasingly worsening delinquency by his actions and inactions. He is a poor representative of The Union County School District, and an irresponsible individual who should not be in a position where his apparent misogyny is being used as a weapon to undermine education and ultimately the future.

It is time to teach that young man a lesson. Not only did he invade her privacy but, he stole from her. Why should a victim of such a crime be punished?
