I'm still sad when we blame and punish the victim! When will we hold the right people responsible for their actions? I say give her the job back, and suspend the punk who did this to her!

The students should be disciplined. They performed a criminal activity and should be held responsible for damages .

Are you not watching the Erin Andrews trial right now? Blaming the victim, disgusting

The teacher is the victim of theft and invasion of privacy. The student should be expelled, he was adult enough to conceive of right and wrong.

The Teacher should hold Both the Student & the Parents Accountable, And take legal action against them along with the School Board ! How many HIGH and MIGHTY SCHOOL BOARDS have been found doing much worst in their work and off time !

I am speechless as to why the teacher is being punished for having her personal life invaded and shown to the world. This needs to be reversed asap.

I wouldn't go back if I were Mrs. Arthur. This petition ought to be for firing David Eubanks.

I think it speaks to what a well respected teacher she is to have such support from her students and parents. It is a sad day when such a teacher is forced to leave a job due to the action of others. I support her and am sad that her students will miss out on her gift because the person in authority is wrongly blaming her for the actions of others. I am not sure how anyone could say she is anyway at fault and it is no different than if her bank or credit card info were stolen. I hope she knows she is supported!

While it was a lack of judgment to password protect her phone, it was an invasion of her privacy by this student that caused this situation. It seems like dismissal is extremely harsh.

We have the right to our privacy. This woman had her privacy violated, and as a result is no longer a teacher at that institution. I wholly support the effort to have her re-instated, the purpose of this petition.

INVATION OF PRIVACY IS NOT OKAY! Idc who the child is/belongs to this is just not right. Had the school not ask for her regination this wouldn't have been a big deal...now BOTH families are having to suffer for another unfair decision from Union County(whoever, school distric, school board, principal, whoever)!!! Simply does not make ANY SENCE!!!

Bring this teacher back! She did nothing wrong! This kid deserves to be punished for invading in her privacy! What is wrong with our school board! Really???!!!!! Get rid of the kid...not the teacher!

That's the invasion of private property I would dare say if you dig deep enough in everybody's junk you would find skeletons, that kid needs to be made an example,

Ridiculous to vilify a teacher, the student seems to have committed a crime!

I applaud you for standing up for your teacher and for what is morally and legally right.
