Good luck with the civil case. The parents of this child should be made to pay for this teacher losing her job. Yes, she is entitled to privacy and this "little boy" never learned that at home. They all need to learn that there are consequences to every action. Just because Mrs. Arthur is the teacher, it doesn't mean she gave up her civil rights when she walked in the door.

This is an excellent example of rape culture. The student violates a female teacher's privacy and she pays a price. Completely irresponsible reaction by the superintendent. Next step is to oust him.

I don't think the teacher should be in trouble.

I think this falls under a defamation law , and that the perpetrator should be tried as an adult and sued for damages.

I believe that that it's ridiculous that a student violates her privacy and then instead of punishing him you punish the victim. You are setting a very bad precedent in the country.

Teacher made a mistake but she was the victim of a crime too. School district is going to pay one way or another, whether that be with a job or litigiously.

IMHO they need to stick it to this kid and give her job back. If he put this picture in a mailbox I do believe he committed a fed crime. Allowing this student to go unpunished will only show him that he can do whatever to whomever.

So basically you're sending a message to the kids saying it's okay to steal private property. And if a student did this to another student???

She should be able to keep her job.
1. Her privacy was invaded
2 she was stold from
3 she and her family have been threatened
All the blame being put on her, I think not.

The student violated this teacher's privacy ! He stole her phone, posted her private pictures & boasted about it ! No way this child should get away with what he has done !!!

Teachers are human too and has rights to their privacy. Since now that her privacy is being invaded, I don't see why she needs to be expelled. She is a victim too.

The school leadership's decision and logic are a total disgrace and insult to their colleagues' intelligence elsewhere. It's the same as punishing a homeowner for forgetting to lock her door instead of the thief who commits the crime as a result.

The Schools reaction is beyond ridiculous. For an under paid, under appreciated, over worked teacher to foot the blame for this is a joke. Stand strong!
