This should be considered the students fault, not Arthur's.

You would not arrest a homeowner who was robbed for leaving his door unlocked. Punishing Mrs. Arthur for having data stolen from her phone is an embarrassment to Union County High School -- and the state of South Carolina.

This is beyond ridiculous. The student should be reprimanded and the teacher should be rehired.

Stop raising entitled brats and have them take responsibility for their actions. That's stealing and invasion of personal property

The punishing of a women for expressing her sexuality is disgusting. Having a school board ran by outdated, prudish and incompetent set of pseudo-adults needs to change.
Your personal life doesn't stop when you decide to devote your life to teaching young people , this woman is entitled to indulge whatever private pleasures she likes, the only misconduct here was the vile child that broke rules by STEALING the phone.

This is absolutely unacceptable. Mrs. Arthur did nothing wrong and the child who committed this act should be held responsible. Please reconsider re-hiring Mrs. Arthur. She did nothing wrong and shouldn't be held accountable for the actions of a mischievous 16 year old boy.
