She did absolutely nothing wrong! The picture was being kept private until the student decided to violate her privacy. It is time we stand up and take back our Country and kids. We need to teach them about consequences for their actions.

Mrs. Arthur is clearly well-liked by her students, and this isn't her fault. I'd hate to see the students lose such a competent mechatronics teacher.

Terrible display of leadership by the administration to punish the victim and effectively condone the behavior of the students. This type of example perpetuates similar behavior in that school and all over the world by seeing there are no ramifications. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

Kid messed up and should be punished along with an apology to the teacher and school for putting people through a stupid act like this.

I would like to lend my support to this lady. It is not right that she loses her job because of a child's idiotic actions

This was an invasion of her privacy. It is wrong that the school forced her to resign. She did nothing illegal or illicit. They student should be punished for shaming and stealing. That was the real crime here.

Students should be held responsible for taking others' property and misusing it. The teacher did nothong immoral or wrong.

Give the teacher her job back, fire the kid, and put it on his public record.

What kind of backward society are we living in? She is NOT at fault, and this ruling is disgusting.

As a teacher in training, this distresses me that a teacher could be released in this manner and in these circumstances. I petition Mrs. Arthur to be reinstated and the offending student to be appropriately disciplined.

This is so freaking backwards. Hold the student responsible, not a dedicated teacher who (gasp!) has a private life.

She should bring a conversion action against the students (his parents) and unlawful termination against the school system.

This is ridiculous. If a minor stole alcohol from the trunk of my car, is it my fault for leaving the car unlocked? Should I be fired for "providing alcohol to a minor"? Nobody should lose their job over something that could not have happened except as the result of someone else's ILLEGAL actions. The lack of critical thinking from the people entrusted to educate these students is absolutely pathetic.

The student(s) should be held accountable regardless of the teacher being offered her job back.
